DeliveryApp tackles on-demand logistics with help of Rio Ferdinand

On-demand logistics business DeliveryApp has enlisted the help of one of the world’s greatest centre backs in its latest brand campaign.

DeliveryApp is ramping up for its next phase of growth with the help of brand ambassador and investor Rio Ferdinand

The business launched V1 of its on-demand logistics app in 2021, promising to disrupt, innovate and revolutionise the world of same-day logistics.

Now with an established client list which includes names such as Furniture Village, Wren Kitchens and Travis Perkins, the business is ramping up for its next phase of growth with the help of brand ambassador and investor Rio Ferdinand.

In the latest campaign from the same-day logistics brand, Ferdinand draws on his leadership experience gained as captain of Manchester United, providing a “lighthearted rallying speech to the team”.

Ferdinand said: “I’m delighted to join the team. DeliveryApp has already started to build fantastic reputation for itself in the world of same-day logistics, but I’m sure I can help put them top of the table and grow their fan base.”

David Ancell, chief marketing officer for DeliveryApp, said: “With an extensive driver network and a robust technology making it easier than ever to book online or via the app and track your delivery door-to-door, DeliveryApp is well positioned for its next phase of growth. Our latest brand campaign with Rio Ferdinand is about just that, creating widespread awareness for the brand, showing there really is a viable, ethical and dependable alternative in the world of same-day, and that’s DeliveryApp.”
