Gripit, a plasterboard fixing specialist that found fame on Dragons’ Den, has deployed vehicle tracking from Ctrack to provide complete visibility of its fleet operation.
Unhappy with the lack of support from its previous tracking provider, the firm turned to Ctrack and initially installed the Ctrack Online web-based vehicle tracking system on three cars, with the system now rolled out across the 15-strong fleet operation.
The technology provides complete visibility of the fleet with office-based staff able to see the exact location of any vehicle in an instance, providing added levels of security but also supporting the company’s strict road safety strategy. In addition, Gripit is using the system to track expenses, mileage and business/private usage, which is helping to gain operational savings while reducing the administrative burden.
