DriverMetrics white paper explores how to recruit safe drivers

A new white paper intended to help fleets address the issue of ‘How to Recruit Safe Drivers’ is now available for free.

The white paper explores how fleets can use psychometric assessments as a vital tool in the selection process for new drivers

Written by DriverMetrics research director Dr Lisa Dorn, the publication aims to help fleets use research to develop driver selection systems that can predict whether the applicants they select are likely to be safer drivers.

The white paper is intended to help managers to understand the research evidence for recruiting and selecting safe drivers, discover the challenges associated with traditional driver selection methods, and learn how to use psychometric assessments to improve selection and recruitment.

Dr Dorn said: “With significant numbers of drivers being recruited during the current Covid-19 crisis, employers require a fast, yet accurate means of selecting safe drivers. This white paper reviews the research evidence for driver recruitment and advocates the use of psychometric assessments as a vital tool in the selection process.”

The ‘How to Recruit Safe Drivers’ white paper is now available via free download on the DriverMetrics website.
