Driving for Better Business to spotlight driver safety & mental health at GBFE 2025

Driving for Better Business, the award-winning, free-to-access programme  from National Highways, is returning to the Great British Fleet Event for 2025 to showcase its latest programme developments.

DfBB will share its expertise in helping fleets keep their drivers safe

Driving for Better Business (DfBB) helps employers in both the private and public sectors reduce work-related road risk, control the associated costs and improve compliance with current legislation and guidance.

At GBFE 2025, taking place this coming Thursday 8 May in Milton Keynes, DfBB will share its expertise in helping fleets keep their drivers safe.

This includes a thought-provoking talk from Engagement Manager Simon Turner as part of the Masterclass Conference sessions. Turner will highlight the importance of driver mental health and wellbeing as part of a holistic driver risk management and collision reduction programme, along with the consequences to businesses that ignore it.

In tandem with that, DfBB will also showcase a range of newly developed and released resources – all free to access – that will play a key role in helping fleets manage driver health to mitigate safety risks.

These new resources join DfBB’s already extensive arsenal of tools and resources to help fleets get tough on driver risk. These include the interactive Driving for Work Policy Builder launched at GBFE 2024 to help companies running fleets tackle their legal responsibilities.

The new DfBB resources you’ll be able to see at GBFE include:

  • Updated Van Driver Toolkit, with extensive revisions for 2025
  • Brand-new Car Driver Toolkit
  • Guide to Incident Investigations
  • Managers Guide to Driver Roadworthiness
  • Guide to Managing Driver Mental Health & Wellbeing
  • How to Create a Good-Practice Driving for Work Policy

To find out how to keep your drivers safe, sign up for your free ticket to this Thursday’s GBFE and head straight for the DfBB stand.
