Driving for Better Business to spotlight fleet safety post-Covid at Great British Fleet Event

The subject of how to get fleet risk management right post-Covid is to be discussed by Driving for Better Business at this month’s Great British Fleet Event (GBFE).

At this month’s GBFE, Simon Turner, campaign manager at Driving for Better Business, will spotlight how the pandemic has radically changed duty of care requirements

The first of a large number of influential fleet speakers confirmed for the event, Simon Turner, campaign manager at the government-backed National Highways programme, will spotlight how the pandemic has radically changed duty of care requirements.

At the free-to-attend event, taking place on 29 March 2022 at Novotel London West in Hammersmith, Turner will look at how the two years of intense disruption during the Covid-19 pandemic has required fleet managers to radically adapt policies and procedures to keep their drivers and vehicles on the road and their organisations operational.

Some of these changes could have a significant impact on whether your organisation is still meeting its duty of care, and at GBFE this month, Turner will examine some important aspects of fleet risk management and driver safety that you will need to review now the restrictions have been lifted and your business returns to normal.

His talk will be one of a number of insight-packed discussions at GBFE, running from fleet safety and compliance, through telematics and operational efficiency, to sustainability and EV best practice.

Alongside the conference programme, visitors will be able to find out more about the latest fleet developments in the exhibition area. This will include the Driving for Better Business stand, where the organisation will promote its recently launched Van Driver Toolkit and highlight how fleets can keep their operations safe and legal.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the Great British Fleet Awards will recognise those fleet service firms, fleet managers and vehicle manufacturers that are the forefront of their game.
