eBay extends deadline to enter Van Conversion of the Year Awards

The entry deadline for eBay’s inaugural Van Conversion of the Year Awards has been extended, giving van users up until midnight on Monday 9 October to enter.

The awards are searching for the most beautifully executed, space efficient and clever LCV conversions in the UK

The awards, which will feature expert judges including architect and TV presenter George Clarke, are searching for the most beautifully executed, space efficient and clever LCV conversions in the UK.

Prizes on offer include £10,000 for the Overall Van Conversion of the year winner while category winners will each receive £250 worth of eBay items.

Aimed at professional traders, owner-drivers, van-fans and leisure travellers, the competition has already seen some impressive entries.

The search is on for everything from the best thought-out trade transformation to the most stylish campervan conversion.

George Clarke, TV presenter and architect, said: “I converted a rusty 70s van into a stylish camper a few years ago and was amazed at the possibilities. Whether it’s a campervan converted into a contemporary home or a Transit turned into the perfect workspace, I can’t wait to see how entrants have modified the spaces they are using.”
