Engineius appoints Andrew Wyatt as finance director

Engineius has appointed Andrew Wyatt as its finance director, supporting ongoing work to expand the company and its profile.

Andrew Wyatt, finance director at Engineius

Wyatt trained in accountancy at EY and previously worked as head of finance at Unity Resourcing, establishing and leading the finance function.

His insight, experience and learning will aid Engineius’ growth over the next few years.

Calum Slowther, recently promoted to managing director, said: “Andrew will be responsible for all aspects of finance – from accounting and commercial finance through to corporate finance. The latter will become increasingly important as we look to accelerate our growth with inorganic options on the table.”

Founded in 2017 to alleviate the pain points that the fleet and automotive sector had with vehicle movements, the company is now working to grow awareness of its proposition.

Slowther added: “We have had a great product-market fit over the first three years after our launch. We are now entering our growth phase to scale up – this is the first of several senior appointments to make this happen.”

While Engineius has been doubling year-on-year since its launch, it initially focused on making sure the proposition was right and then later on onboarding customers and building the accounts up, but has now said it’s ready to “come out from under the radar”.

Wyatt commented: “I am delighted to be joining a very dynamic company with huge potential. The team is young and has a very clear vision of what it wants to achieve.”

“I’m excited to have the chance to help drive Engineius forward to achieve its ambitious goals.”
