Enigma launches Android Skyline Asset Tracking app

The Android app allows Skyline users to track, trace and monitor their company vehicles, plant and machinery whilst on the go.

The new app joins the iOS tablet version already available for iPad and iPad Mini users and can be downloaded free of charge from Android app stores for use on 7-inch and 10-inch tablets.

The app provides a tablet version of Skyline 7.5, Enigma’s web-based system launched in autumn 2013. The technology offers over 60 unique reports and a simple Key Performance Indicator (KPI) format, and is designed to help businesses to identify inappropriate vehicle use and driver behaviour, optimise fuel usage through effective fuel management, as well as protect assets from theft.

Katie Keam-George, IT manager and head of skyline development at Enigma Telematics, said: ‘We are delighted to confirm the release of an Android tablet version of Skyline Asset Tracking, because we think it will help users to extract even greater benefit from their use of Skyline.  We recognise that tablets are being used more and more each day in a business capacity and just because you are not sat in front of a computer, this shouldn’t mean that you can’t have access to the data that Skyline can provide.  We have had really good feedback from users of the iOS version of Skyline Asset Tracking and we hope to get the same from Android users too.’
