Enterprise introduces car club at Portsmouth branch

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is adding Enterprise Car Club vehicles to its new branch in Fratton, Portsmouth in response to growing requirements for ‘on demand’ vehicle rental.

The Ford Transit and Vauxhall Astra in the car club are available 24/7 via an app

The firm said it’s seeing demand for such solutions from both businesses in the area and local residents looking to rent vans, and the new service offers access to a Ford Transit and a Vauxhall Astra 24/7, 365 days of the year. Vehicles can booked around the clock using the mobile app even when the branch is closed.

Customers will also be able to rent an expanded range of vehicles from the Fratton branch on a daily basis, including a wider range of commercial vehicles and tailgate lift vans for the first time, and offered seven days a week.

Paul Smith, general manager of Enterprise Rent-A-Car South Central England, said: “Both businesses and local residents are increasingly using car rental and car clubs to meet their mobility needs. We’re finding that our vans are really popular with local residents for house moves, or when they need a larger vehicle to their own. Local businesses want to offer employees more flexible ways of staying mobile when they need to travel for business. That’s when services like Enterprise Car Club can be really effective, as you can pick up a car at any time, even if the branch is closed.”
