Enterprise relocates Omagh branch in response to rising rental demand

Located on one of Omagh’s main arteries, Dromore Road, the new branch is sited in a previously disused building and storage warehouse and replaces a previous smaller operation that was based at a local dealership to serve local people who would rent a replacement vehicle when their own car was being serviced or repaired.

The new branch will house a staff of five people and will be open for an extra hour each day to help customers pick up and drop off vehicles at a time that suits them.

Andy Lilley, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Area manager, said: “We have been really amazed to see the demand for rental from Omagh businesses and residents. This is very much part of the “sharing” revolution, where people pay to access services such as car hire for convenience, and often a cost saving as well.

“We could see that it would be easier if people could rent a car in a purpose built rental branch and would be easier to find with specific signage. This has given us the opportunity to take on more space, more vehicles, more people, and stay open for longer too.”

Enterprise currently has nine branches located across Northern Ireland.
