Mercedes-Benz dealer eStar Truck & Van is continuing its expansion, with Kate Howdon joining as head of HR.
eStar is the newest Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Vans business in the North West and North Wales, and was created when industry entrepreneur Sid Sadique acquired most of the assets of Roanza Truck & Van from administration in September 2020.
Since then, the business has continued to expand, including the appointment in January 2021 of managing director Steve Bridge, previously head of Mercedes-Benz Vans UK.
Kate Howdon now joins the business too, moving over from TrustFord, the largest Ford-dedicated dealer group, where she was regional HR manager.
Prior to this, she worked in HR advisor roles at Premex Group, Manchester Growth Company and multi-dealer group Cambria Automobiles.
