Vivaro and Movano will now have Euro 6-compliant diesel engines, additional assistance systems to improve safety and extra optional fittings.
The Luton-built Vivaro Combi also introduces new turbo-diesel powertrains to model year 2016 iterations. Priced at £27,094 on-the road, the entry-level 1.6 CDTi (95PS) engine with torque of 260Nm, has a combined consumption of 44.8mpg and emissions of 164g/km CO2 .
The new 1.6 BiTurbo CDTi (125PS), which is priced at £28,060 on-the-road, produces torque of 320Nm. Fuel consumption on a combined cycle is 49.6mpg while it delivers emissions of 149g/km CO2.
Both engines come with Start/Stop and manual six-speed gearbox and thanks to Vauxhall’s BlueInjection SCR system, they all comply with the Euro 6 emission standard.
The Vivaro is available with new features such as Keyless Open and Start, a tablet holder and an improved IntelliLink infotainment system Navi 50 which also has DAB as standard.
The nine-seat Movano Combi and 17-seat Movano Minibus are also available with new 2.3-litre BiTurbo diesel engines. Thanks to Vauxhall’s BlueInjection exhaust after-treatment system, these engines also comply with Euro 6.
The Combi has two Euro 6 engines, the first is a 145PS version with 360Nm of torque. The most powerful engine now delivers 170PS and 380Nm of torque. Both models deliver 42.8mpg and emit 173g/km CO2 with prices starting from £33,448 excluding VAT.
Moving up the range, the 17-seat Movano minibus has also been updated with the Euro 6 compliant 145PS BiTurbo engine.
The new engines come with Start/Stop along with a manual six-speed transmission. The driver assistance package, now available for the Movano, includes high beam assist, lane departure warning, fog lights and an on-board computer.
