Europcar adds latest Volkswagen and Nissan vans to fleet

Europcar Vans and Trucks has expanded its van and specialist vehicle fleet with the addition of models from VW and Nissan.

Europcar says it’s the first rental provider to add the latest VW Caddy Cargo SWB Commerce to its fleet

The new vehicles include the latest VW Caddy Cargo SWB Commerce, making Europcar the first rental provider to add the compact van to its fleet. The vans, which are capable of transporting up to 700kg, including up to 100kg on the roof, are already accessible from Europcar’s 12 Van and Trucks Supersites at key locations around the UK, with more being phased in each month until the end of the year.

Europcar is also re-introducing the Nissan NV250 Panel Van Acenta – last seen on its fleet in 2015. It will be available in two different body lengths (L1 & L2), both offering the latest safety systems.

The expansion of the fleet is being made in response to continued high demand, largely due to increased activity in the logistics, construction and building maintenance sectors.

David Saint, Van & Truck director UK, Europcar Mobility Group UK, said: “As increased business confidence returns to many industries across the country, we are seeing increased demand from businesses that need quick and cost-effective access to the latest and most technologically advanced vans and specialist vehicles.”

In particular, Europcar aiming to make long-term rental a viable solution for companies that face fluctuations in demand.

“Rather than committing to lengthy lease agreements with onerous termination penalties, Europcar Flex offers a cost-effective, flexible solution for van users,” continued David Saint.
