Europcar Vans & Trucks has expanded its commercial fleet in partnership with Maxus.
It’s added Deliver 9 diesel models to its existing van line-up, further helping fleets and drivers navigate ULEZ and Clean Air Zones while benefiting from the ability to move larger payloads.
The Deliver 9’s 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine meets the latest Euro 6DV1e requirements, meaning businesses can eliminate the risk of fines and charges for entering the low emission zones without having to make long-term financial commitments.
Keith Shorter, vans & trucks director at Europcar, said: “Maxus shares our vision for helping customers make lower-carbon choices, selecting models that work for their business both financially and logistically. This is already critical for organisations that operate in Clean Air and Ultra Low Emission zones. By adding the Maxus Deliver 9 diesel model to the Europcar commercial vehicle fleet, we are providing an easy-to-access solution that both reduces emissions and addresses the cost of CAZ and ULEZ.”
The new arrivals support Europcar’s work to help organisations drive a younger and more efficient fleet of diesel and petrol vehicles that comply with the latest Euro standards.
“We are committed to building strong partnerships with like-minded OEMs that can help our customers manage their transport needs as sustainably as possible. This new partnership with Maxus is a great addition to our already extensive fleet of CAZ and ULEZ-compliant vans,” added Keith Shorter.
Mark Barrett, managing director, group franchise at Harris Maxus, commented: “Maxus is proud to join forces with Europcar, a leader in the van rental industry. The acquisition of a significant fleet of Maxus Deliver 9 vans by Europcar reinforces our position as a trusted provider in the commercial vehicle market. This partnership underscores our mission to empower businesses with the essential tools for success, and we are privileged to contribute to Europcar’s commitment to providing customers with a diverse and modern fleet.”
