Europcar expands van rental presence in Scotland

Europcar has opened its second specialist van rental centre in Scotland to help firms across the country meet business needs.

The new branch is located at Lancefield Quay

Located in Lancefield Quay, Glasgow, the new branch joins Europcar’s existing Edinburgh Supersite and offers an equally diverse range of commercial vehicles.

A range of short and long wheelbase vans are available, alongside specialist vehicles, including Chapter 8 equipped vehicles, crew vans and 4×4 pick-ups.

Van specialists from the centre are able to work with businesses from across Scotland to ensure that the right vehicles are available at the right time and in the right place for all their transportation needs.

Stuart Russell, director, commercial vehicles, Europcar Mobility Group in the UK, said: “The tailored service and knowledge available in our Edinburgh station has already made it incredibly popular. Identifying that businesses were coming from all over Scotland to access the specialist expertise and range of vans, it made sense to open a site with a focus on vans in Glasgow too.

“Supporting everything from daily rental to longer term usage, the Europcar Glasgow Van hub provides firms with a local station that can meet all their commercial vehicle needs. Not only do we offer a wide range of vehicles, ready to rent within four hours, but our commercial vehicle experts can help businesses identify the right vehicle for the job, every time.”
