Europcar kicks off January with 10% van discount

Europcar Vans & Trucks is running a January Van Sale to help drivers kick-start their new year plans.

Europcar’s January Van Sale offers 10% off rentals of two or more days

The initiative offers 10% off rentals of two or more days, up to 28 days, for a wide variety of van sizes and runs until 25 January 2023.

It launches as SMMT data shows 2022 new van registrations fell 21% amid the chip crisis and resultant vehicle shortages.

Keith Shorter, Europcar vans & trucks director, said the firm’s Van Sales could help drivers and fleets to plug the gap.

“Whether it’s individuals moving house or starting some renovations or small businesses needing a helping hand with their first projects of the year, we wanted to make January a bit easier. Recent research has found that 70% of small business owners believe rising costs are their biggest challenge, and almost half say they are either ‘unsure’ or ‘not confident’ about their business’s future in 2023.

“Addressing this uncertainty, our January sale aims to ease the pressure on businesses as they tackle other demands; they can even make savings on their rentals all year round by opening a business account with us. The sale is also available for private motorists who are facing a few more January blues this year, with the festive bills during the cost-of-living crisis and continued transport strikes.”

The sale provides a wide choice of vehicles, from short and long wheelbase and Luton panel vans, all accessed via a network of locations across the UK.
