Europcar’s 750-strong Sprinter fleet finds favour with firms

Europcar Mobility Group says it’s seeing significant demand for its 750-strong Mercedes-Benz Sprinter rental fleet from firms looking for flexible, cost-effective access to the recently launched van range.

This includes nationwide surveying firm Oracle Asbestos Solution, which has partnered with Europcar to provide six liveried Sprinters to its drivers under Europcar’s long-term van rental proposition – Advantage for Vans.

Deborah Cook, head of central services, Oracle Asbestos Solutions, said: “As a nationwide business our employees spend a lot of time on the road. Their vans are their workplaces so it made sense for us to invest in the latest and best technology. And AdVANtage for Vans from Europcar meant we could provide our employees with this technology, without having to tie up significant funds on purchasing them outright.

“Maintenance is also included in our fixed monthly bill so if there is ever an issue with one of the vehicles that’s another cost that we’ve removed from the balance sheet.”

Stuart Russell, commercial vehicles sales director, Europcar Mobility Group UK, added: “Oracle Asbestos Solutions needed a transport partner that could provide its employees with highly-specified vehicles without the financial outlay involved in acquisition. Our long term rental proposition as well as our wide range of specialist vehicles meant that we were able to fulfil this demand while providing a flexible, cost-effective option. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Oracle, supporting the business as it continues to grow.”
