Held alongside the existing auction events, the new sales programme follows the addition of sales at Manchester last and means the auction giant now stages at least one LCV sale across the network every day, offering more than 2,000 vans a week.

The new programme has already delivered record results, with Blackbushe setting a new volume benchmark by offering 663 vans on one day and selling 560. BCA Glasgow sold a record 300 LCVs in one week in January. Digital buyers have been particularly active with 47% of all vans being purchased via BCA Live Online in January.

Stuart Pearson, managing director, UK Remarketing, said: “With BCA retaining and winning more LCV business nationwide, we are now able to offer a significantly increased volume of stock through our enhanced sales programme. The combination of physical and digital sales means that buyers can source the stock they need in the most time- and cost-effective manner, whatever their location.”
