First deliveries of the new D-Max start in the spring.

The replacement to the previous 163hp 2.5-litre unit, the new 164hp engine is Euro 6 compliant without the need for addition of AdBlue. Torque is down from 400Nm to 360Nm but the unit retains the 3.5-tonne towing capacity and 1-tonne payload whilst providing a quieter, more refined and economical driving experience. Fuel economy and CO2 figures have not been announced.

The 2017 D-Max also retains the Shift-On-The-Fly 4×4 that enables the driver to select four-wheel drive and low-range gears on the move with the rotary dial.

First deliveries of the new D-Max start in late spring/early summer. Pricing and specification changes will be announced closer to the time.
