Field service management tool addition for Verizon Connect

Verizon Connect has launched an integrated field service management solution to simplify dispatching, scheduling and job management.

The Reveal Field tool forms part of the Verizon Connect Reveal platform, removing the need to switch between telematics and field service solutions

Operating in near real-time, Reveal Field works with the Verizon Connect Reveal platform to combine vehicle location data and technician status in an all-in-one solution that can streamline operations and help managers provide more accurate customer ETAs.

Features include the simple scheduling that enables operators to view available technicians and vehicle location and schedule jobs, and live map integration.

“Operations and fleet managers want a centralised hub where they have complete visibility into vehicles, workers and the work they are doing,” said Erin Cave, vice president of product management at Verizon Connect. “Reveal Field provides a simplified approach to managing drivers, technicians and jobs, and enables customers to streamline business processes, efficiently schedule jobs and improve customer service — all from one pane of glass.”
