First new Vivaro goes to Homeserve

The milestone vehicle forms part of an order for 65 Vivaro and 140 Movano vans for the home emergency repair firm, with the vehicle’s features and excellent running costs playing a key role.

The Luton-built Vivaro (L1H1) panel vans in Flame Red are powered by 90PS 1.6 CDTi engines and are specified with air conditioning and parking sensors. The Movanos 2.3 CDTi (136PS) BiTurbo vans get the same optional extras and exterior paint colour.

Tim Tozer, Vauxhall’s chairman and managing director, presented the keys to Jadon Silva, Homeserve’s director of UK procurement at its factory.

‘Both Vivaro and Movano offer outstanding practicality, economy and load-lugging capability so I’m sure Homeserve will be very pleased with their new fleet of Vauxhalls,’ said Tim Tozer. ‘It’s also great news that this landmark vehicle has found a home with one of our key customers.’

‘We’re delighted with the new fleet of Vauxhall vans, especially as our home assistance teams are gearing up to help hard-working homes this autumn and winter – the timing couldn’t have been better,’ said Jadon Silva.

‘Not only will our new fleet be more fuel-efficient, and better for the environment, but it will help us go the extra mile for our customers and continue to provide effortless home assistance over the coming years.’
