Fleet Engineer conference goes virtual for autumn 2020

Logistics UK (formerly the FTA) is running a virtual version of its annual Fleet Engineer Conference to bring up-to-date advice on commercial vehicle technology.

The virtual Fleet Engineer Conference will explore developments in commercial vehicle technology, maintenance legislation changes and best practice advice

Using latest virtual conference technology, the event will take place on 21 October 2020, exploring developments in commercial vehicle technology, maintenance legislation changes and best practice advice.

It’s aimed at those with responsibility for specifying commercial vehicles, ensuring roadworthiness, compliance and maintaining vehicles.

Phil Lloyd, head of engineering policy at Logistics UK, said: “Vehicle technologies in logistics are evolving constantly with an increasing number of new applications and different vehicle configurations making fleet management a more complex engineering task. With these technological developments coming in thick and fast, it can be challenging to stay ahead of the game. Logistics UK’s Fleet Engineer Conference 2020 will focus on how engineers can inspect and maintain vehicles and trailers effectively – embracing new and evolving technologies, but without losing sight of the basic, most essential practices.”
