Fleet insurance broker offers risk management analysis service

The service offers businesses a holistic analysis of their fleet’s claims history and risk management strategies and assessments to pinpoint areas where to reduce insurance premiums, control risks and prevent fraudulent claims.

The analysis is created by Gauntlet’s health & safety and insurance teams, following a site visit and an in-depth analysis of a fleet, its day-to-day operation, historic and current performance and claims history.

A Gauntlet Fleet Survey will typically focus on driver pre-selection, retention and training, as well as vehicle selection and use and the current performance of the fleet.

Gauntlet director, Ian McCarron said: “We regard our Fleet Surveys as part of a positive and progressive service that we provide to clients, both existing and new, when they are focused on both improving their risk, to benefit from the efficiencies and lower insurance premiums that such improvements bring, or when they wish to demonstrate their effectiveness to their own clients.

“Using this holistic approach, we can save clients significant sums of money, as well as removing some of the hassles that accompany claims incidents and administration.  As a result, commissioning a Gauntlet Fleet Survey quickly proves to be money well spent.”
