The app is fully compliant with the DVSA safety and maintenance guidelines.

The app, launched at the CV Show 2017 at the end of April, the Walkaround Check App enables operators to schedule, carry out, confirm, follow-up and audit all kinds of inspections from daily walkarounds to formal weekly or monthly checks on commercial vehicles ranging from vans to HGVs.

The app, which is fully compliant with the DVSA safety and maintenance guidelines, integrates with FleetCheck’s fleet management software and has been adopted by a number of the company’s customers, including Blind Veterans UK, Tructyre, London and Quadrant Housing, and Hyperoptic.

Peter Golding, managing director at FleetCheck, said: “The Walkaround Check App is, we believe, the most robust, simple-to-use and effective electronic methods of replacing an old school manual commercial vehicle safety process available today.

“The strong initial reaction from fleets indicates that we have really struck a chord and we are also in conversations with many more about adopting the product.”
