Fleet World has once again taken the best Automotive Business Publication title at the Newspress awards.
Building on its 2022 win, the leading title for fleet decision-makers fended off competition from the likes of Autovista24 to clinch the accolade for 2024.
Judges said Fleet World led the field “thanks to its commitment to its target audience and an unrelenting pursuit of quality editorial”.
The panel said: “Fleet World does a fine job of keeping its audience abreast of all that is relevant both online and in print. The magazine’s willingness to both inform and entertain, via its Fantasy Fleet feature for example, is especially commendable.”
This year’s Newspress awards also saw Fleet World business editor Natalie Middleton named Best Automotive Business Journalist from a rather long shortlist of talented journos – and praised for keeping readers “brilliantly informed”.
John Challen, editor, said: “These are two more wins for Fleet World for Newspress – and ones that we’re again fiercely proud of.
“With a small but mighty team, we’re ever-focused on providing operators with the latest news, intelligence and viewpoints in the sector – from electric cars and vans and autonomous vehicles to fleet software and AI, and a wealth of other developments too.
“And as the new government enters Downing Street on 5 July, we also look forwards to keeping the fleet sector abreast of the impact of changing plans and policies.”
