FleetCheck customer base up by a fifth in 2022

FleetCheck signed up more than 250 new clients last year – increasing the company’s total customer base by more than a fifth.

Peter Golding, managing director

The total number of organisations using its core fleet management platform now exceeds 1,550, together operating more than 170,000 vehicles and associated assets. The business also reported a 40% rise in revenue and a 20% increase in its overall headcount last year.

FleetCheck attributed the growth to evolving fleet needs and rising awareness of the need for a comprehensive fleet management solution.

Peter Golding, managing director, said: “Really, we have been riding a wave since the start of the pandemic. Lockdowns brought home to many organisations the advantages of having a comprehensive fleet management system that can effectively handle key issues such as compliance with the option of remote access. We’ve been in a good position to meet rapidly changing fleet needs.

“There has never been a point during my time in the fleet sector when so many new demands have been placed on vehicle operators in such a short time, and we are working hard to keep pace through a programme of ongoing product development. The success we are seeing suggests that this strategy is working well.”

It’s also underscored growing ambitions with the arrival of a new corporate identity in October, based around a new, more modern logo.

Golding elaborated: “Our mission statement is to become the UK’s number one provider of fleet management software to small to medium companies. We want to be their go-to source of knowledge for all fleet-related compliance, road safety and best practice.

“The new FleetCheck look represents this thinking and will soon be incorporated into all our activities, most notably as part of a refresh of our core system, which is being given a cleaner, fresher look over the coming months.”
