Fleet software specialist FleetCheck is offering customers access to a number of Freight Transport Association resources in a move to help them raise operational standards.
The tie-up will cover guides and documentation surrounding the FTA’s Van Excellence initiative, access to the FTA’s Advice Centre, and discounts on a range of other FTA products and services.
The service is expected to drive wider interest in the FTA’s Van Excellence scheme from FleetCheck’s 600 customers who operate around 60,000 vehicles between them.
Peter Golding, managing director at FleetCheck, said: “Our intention is to provide this service for free to as many of our customers as possible. As a company, we have always seen our role to be not only a provider of software but a proactive partner that gives the fleets with which we work a range of tools to help them make improvements in all the key areas of fleet.
“Certainly, this new arrangement should mean that they have access to FTA resources of the highest quality that could potentially help them to make strides in areas ranging from safety to whole life costs. It’s a genuine benefit.”
