Fleetclear appoints business development manager

Technology and software solutions company Fleetclear has appointed Ray Barnett as business development manager as part of its ongoing growth plans.

Ray Barnett, business development manager at Fleetclear

Barnett brings more than 15 years’ experience in the telematics and tracking technology industry and will primarily focus on the expansion of the company’s fleet management software solution, Fleetclear Connect.

He commented: “This is an exciting opportunity and one where I can make a difference. I like the way the company is growing organically: the culture is very positive, the products are impressive and the people are great. It’s a company I’m very happy to be a part of and I feel I can make a real impact here.”

James Attrell, commercial director, added: “I’d like to welcome Ray to the Fleetclear family. He has an excellent understanding of the role of telematics, tracking and cameras in improving safety, efficiency and compliance, and has experience working across a wide range of industries.”

Fleetclear was founded over a decade ago as Innovative Safety Systems Ltd (ISS) and rebranded to Fleetclear in March 2022. It’s evolved from a leading vehicle safety and technology manufacturer into a complete fleet solution provider with an end-to-end solution for all fleet operators.

Solutions include the Cyclear cyclist safety warning device, anti-rollaway and driver ID technology, camera recording systems and reverse radar, plus the Fleetclear Connect web-based fleet management software system, which provides a simplified, user-friendly way to manage vehicles and drivers.
