Flogas turns to removable van graphics for seasonal messages

LPG supplier Flogas Britain has deployed reusable van graphics from Spedian for its varied promotional programme.

Flogas is using the Spedian graphics instead of stickers on plastic or aluminium panels.
Flogas is using the Spedian graphics instead of stickers on plastic or aluminium panels.

The firm runs a number of different campaigns throughout the year – from BBQs and outdoor catering in the summer to portable home heater packages and Christmas street food markets in winter – and is deploying Spedian’s panels to showcase its marketing messages across its 150-strong cylinder fleet.

The graphics have been designed to be quick to apply and can be simply removed, rolled up and stored for later re-use.

Stephen Moir, Flogas fleet manager, said: “We were previously using stickers on plastic or aluminium panels, so we were extremely keen to find a new solution – one that took far less time to install but also avoided adding any unwelcome weight to vehicles.

“Thanks to the new lightweight system, changing panels is now a straightforward 15-20 minute job. This means we can limit the time vehicles are off the road and keep costs to an absolute minimum.”

The new Spedian graphics will initially appear on Flogas vehicles both in Scotland and the north of England. They will then be rolled out across the company’s full fleet in the coming months.

Moir added: “Our fleet is the ideal medium to communicate our messaging so it’s important that we make the most of the marketing opportunity. We’ve been incredibly impressed with Spedian, and with their help we’ve been able to find an excellent way to keep our vehicles on-message consistently and cost-effectively.”
