FMG Repair Services announces new MD

Jason Tripp has joined FMG Repair Services (formerly Nationwide Accident Repair Services) as its new managing director.

Following its acquisition by Redde Northgate in September 2020, FMG Repair Services is being closely aligned to sister business FMG Support but run as a separate trading entity

Tripp was previously at claims management and insurance product specialist Coplus and brings over 20 years of experience of insurance claims and operational experience to the role.

He will lead FMG Repair Services as part of the wider group, further to its acquisition by Redde Northgate in September 2020.

The acquisition will see FMG Repair Services closely aligned to sister business FMG Support – which provides fleet incident management and specialist vehicle recovery services – but run as a separate trading entity, with Tripp heading up the Repair business.

The group’s vision is to become the UK’s partner of choice for end-to-end accident and claims management, fleet and insurer solutions.

Tripp will drive the strategy for FMG Repair Services whilst working closely with the Group Management Board to gain strategic synergies.

Harvey Stead, who is managing director at the Redde Group of Companies and has been leading the early integration of the business into Redde Northgate – said: “Welcoming Jason as MD of FMG Repair Services marks the start of a new chapter in the Nationwide/FMG Repair Services story as we continue to plan and structure the business to best contribute to, and benefit from, being part of a group providing end-to-end mobility services for customers.

“We’re delighted to have him join us to take the business forward.”
