Ford adds more approved converters to Qualified Vehicle Modifier scheme

Ford’s Qualified Vehicle Modifier programme has now reached a total of 35 approved converters, with 20 additional converters having been added in the last year.

Among the latest organisations to be QVM accredited is MS-RT

Announced to coincide with the 2019 CV Show, the additions to the scheme include MS-RT, a joint venture established between Malcolm Wilson – the driving force behind M-Sport – and specialist converter Van-Sport that provides distinctive conversions based on products including the Transit Custom and Ranger.

Other new additions include Bespoke Bodies – a commercial vehicle bodybuilders based in Woolston Grange and focused on offering a bespoke service to customers with particular ‘one-off’ requirements – as well as Ingimex, Clark Vehicle Conversions, Bott, Sortimo, Vanliners and Truckcraft Bodies.

“The QVM programme is one of the driving forces behind Ford’s record-breaking commercial vehicle sales in 2018,” said Hans Schep, general manager, commercial vehicles, Ford of Europe. “The ever-growing network of Ford-accredited vehicle converters gives our customers unrivalled options when it comes to seeking conversion specialists who can meet their business needs in terms of design and manufacture them to an accredited standard.”
