Ford cuts price of selected Transit parts by more than half

The move follows the recent launch of Motorcraft 4+ from Ford – a parts and service package targeting drivers of commercial vehicles and cars aged four years and older.

Jon Wellsman, Ford of Britain customer service division director, said: ‘Small businesses need to watch every penny, and these price cuts on regular service parts will bring savings that customers really notice. Ford commercial vehicle dealers offer top quality parts installed by trained technicians – now at an even more competitive cost.’

A replacement clutch slave cylinder on a 2000–2006 Ford Transit is now up to 58% cheaper – a saving of up to £210. The Ford and Ford Motorcraft value range parts available at a reduced price also include: brake discs and linings, oil filters, air filters, diesel fuel filters, clutch kits, clutch release bearings, wishbones, control arms and whell bearings.

These reductions come as Ford is completing the launch of its redesigned and expanded Transit range in Europe, including the all-new Ford Transit, Ford Transit Custom, Ford Transit Connect and Ford Transit Courier, which offers much improved cost of ownership.

With this new initiative in place, customers with older Transit and Transit Connect vehicles can also benefit from reduced ownership costs.
