Ford is looking for fleet managers to provide valuable feedback on electric vehicles through paid research.
The project will take place at Ford’s van R&D site at Dunton and will help shape development of the brand’s new electric vehicles.
Ford is seeking fleet managers from the construction and maintenance sectors for the focus groups, which will play a lead role in its van R&D.
Operators need to live near to Dunton and have a fleet including panel vans – but vehicles do not need to be from Ford.
The sessions run for two hours and participants are paid £250. Ford is running up to four sessions per year.

The work will help shape Ford’s future vans. The brand is on a mission to launch nine new EV vans and cars by 2025, including five van-based vehicles.
The project follows the recent opening of Ford’s new £24m electric vehicle test laboratory in Dunton. The facility is the third new laboratory opened in the last two years at Dunton to develop and test electric vehicle powertrains, marking a total investment of £70m.
The new Propulsion Development Laboratory is already being used to carry out testing for the E-Transit Courier, E-Transit Custom and Ford Puma Gen-E programmes and sits alongside the Advanced Propulsion Laboratory (APL) and separate E:PRiME (Electrified Powertrain in Manufacturing Engineering) prototype build facility.
