Ford names Bri-Stor as QVM accredited racking supplier

Ford has appointed Bri-Stor Systems as its first and only recognised QVM (Qualified Vehicle Modifer) for commercial vehicle racking conversions, enabling the manufacturer to offer a racking service direct from dealerships.

Bri-Stor is offering a wide range of storage systems, internal racking, accessories and roof equipment under the Ford QVM programme.
Bri-Stor is offering a wide range of storage systems, internal racking, accessories and roof equipment under the Ford QVM programme.

Launched in the UK last summer, the QVM scheme has been in existence in the US for 30 years and has now been introduced to Ford UK to ensure the quality of converted vehicles on offer, covering everything from refrigerated load carriers and tipper trucks.

Bri-Stor’s appointment means Ford customers looking for conversions can choose from a wide range of storage systems, internal racking, accessories and roof equipment including the Easi-load ground loading roof rack system. Tailored conversions cover the Transit (L2H2 / L2H3/ L3H2 / L3H3/ L4H3), Custom (L1H1 / L1H2/ L2H1 / L2H2), Connect (L1/ L2), Courier and Ranger models.

To achieve Ford QVM status, converters must meet Ford’s standards in every stage of production from manufacture to production line, quality control and delivery, with each area being regularly assessed by Ford. All QVM partners also offer a warranty for their conversion to match Ford’s own warranty when it comes to mileage and duration.
