Ford to introduce limited-edition Ranger variants

Ford will add two limited-edition models to the Ranger pickup range in October.

Ranger Stormtrak is focused on style, while Ranger Wolftrak is aimed at customers who work outdoors with an emphasis on off-road performance

The emphasis for Ranger Stormtrak will be on style, with a leather interior, LED headlamps, 213hp EcoBlue two-litre diesel engine and 10-speed automatic gearbox.

Ranger Wolftrak is aimed at customers who work outdoors with an emphasis on off-road performance. Available in Conquer Grey paint, features include an electronically locking rear differential, all-terrain tyres, 17-inch black alloy wheels and matte black details. Power will come from Ford’s 170hp variant of the 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine with six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission choices. Ford expects to find customers from the farming, forestry and outdoor pursuits sectors for the Wolftrak.

In addition, Stormtrak models will benefit from a power roller shutter cover for the load bed as standard as well as a load bed liner and divider. The power roller shutter will also become optional on Ranger Wildtrak double-cab models. Stormtrak models will be finished in Rapid Red, Frozen White or Blue Lightning paint.
