Total Cleaning Company South has a fleet of 12 vehicles operating throughout the south and the ForeTrack GPS system has been fitted to each vehicle.
The despatch department uses the system to keep track of its team of cleaning technicians who are heading to domestic and commercial properties and enables them to direct drivers to avoid traffic or change appointments, making the best use of their locations.
The ForeTrack system uses GPS satellite tracking and GPRS mobile phone technology to relay information live to a computer. It allows the company directors to see the exact location of each vehicle, monitor average speed, journey length and time, distance travelled and routes taken.
With the ForeTrack GPS fleet tracking system in place, the cleaning firm has reported a smoother running process of its fleet. Tracey Russell, company director at Total Cleaning Company South, commented: ‘We decided to implement the vehicle tracking system from ForeTrack to help us manage our team more effectively. A perfect organisational tool, the web-based software is an integral part of our business enabling us to look online and see where our technicians are and how far they are from their appointments so we can update our customers on timescales.’
