For companies that are already FORS accredited there will be a charge for the annual reward although this charge will be waived or reduced in the first year, depending on the company’s renewal date. For new operators to the scheme annual registration starts from £65 for a company with one vehicle, plus the cost of an annual audit.

Companies with their own internal audit capability can be approved to certify their own depots to the FORS standard.

TfL has fully funded FORS for the past seven years and established the scheme as a benchmark standard for industry,' explained John Hix, FORS community partnership concession drector. 'The scheme is now being offered across the UK and a funding model has been created to facilitate the continuing growth of the scheme to improve and develop the benefits it offers whilst becoming financially sustainable.'
