The industry-led accreditation scheme encompasses all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations for commercial vehicles.
Associates of the scheme are suppliers that provide an exclusive offer or discount on products and services aligned to the requirements of the FORS standard, the cornerstone of which is to promote safety and efficiency through the implementation and sharing of best practice.
“The accreditation process consists of a rigorous audit which tests a fleet’s processes, documentation and systems,” says TruTac’s commercial director Jemma James. “We decided to seek FORS-approved Associate status as many of TruTac’s customers are already FORS members and we wanted to align TruTac with the same, high FORS standards to which they operate.”
