FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, is to highlight its FORS Professional training and the benefits for members at this year’s CV Show

Details about FORS training schemes will be highlighted at this year’s CV Show.

Fully funded for FORS members, the FORS Professional training package brings together the full suite of FORS training materials and opportunities and supports the scheme’s three core principles of best practice – safety, efficiency and environmental protection.

Meeting FORS, CLOCS and TfL’s Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) requirements, the suite of training also includes JAUPT-approved driver courses delivered by qualified professionals. Specific FORS practitioner, manager, and driver training courses, including practical cycle safety courses, are available to meet the FORS Standard and drive-up best practice right across the supply chain.

Benefits of the training typically include improved fuel consumption and a reduction in Penalty Charge Notices.

FORS director John Hix said: “With such a comprehensive range of courses on offer we have all the bases covered for any operator, regardless of their size and fleet make-up. FORS Professional training is central to our quest in making best practice an everyday mind-set for all our members.”
