Free Specsavers booklet to help fleets promote eyecare for driving

The booklet, which is available either electronically or in printed format, covers all areas of eyecare from the health benefits of eyetests through to specific benefits offered to staff, including eyecare for driving, safety and VDU.

This is the latest addition to the toolkit to help employers communicate their eyecare benefits to employees, including a range of posters and a sight app.

Jim Lythgow, director of strategic alliances at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, said: ‘The benefits of eyecare are wide and far-reaching and we wanted to find a way to let staff know about them.  Some staff may know they’re offered an eyetest from their employer, but they may not know the details, such as that the eyetest itself can detect a huge range of health conditions, or how easy it is to redeem their eyecare benefits – which have recently been made available electronically.  In our experience, the more ways we help employers to get the message across, the better.’

To get a copy of the booklet, Specsavers Corporate Eyecare’s clients should contact their account manager or go to www.specsavers.co.uk/corporate
