FTA Future Logistics Conference rescheduled as ITT Hub postponed

FTA’s Future Logistics Conference has been rescheduled for 12-13 May 2021 in line with postponement of the wider ITT Hub event.

ITT Hub will now take place on 12-13 May 2021 at Farnborough International Conference & Exhibition Centre

The inaugural ITT hub was originally due to take place at Farnborough International Conference & Exhibition Centre on 13-14 May 2020 but has been rescheduled as a result of the latest government advice in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Elizabeth de Jong, policy director at FTA, said: “These are truly exceptional circumstances and while we are disappointed to postpone the FTA Future Logistics Conference, the wellbeing of visitors, exhibitors and staff must take precedent.

“FTA would like to reassure delegates with existing bookings that these will be valid for next year’s event. FTA remains committed to delivering a unique and insightful programme and is pleased to confirm that British astronaut Tim Peake will remain as key-note speaker for the conference next year.”

CEO of Binswood Media Mark Griffin added: “The decision to postpone the first edition of ITT Hub is one that has been made with great reluctance and a heavy heart.

“In considering the options regarding the rescheduling of the event, we have looked at a number of factors such as likely length of Coronavirus-related impact, venue availability, the industry calendar and the seasonal dimension with it being both an outdoor and indoor event. We have concluded that putting ITT Hub back a full year to the dates already announced for the 2021 event is the best solution.”
