After the 10th September 2013 deadline, the Traffic Commissioners will take action against vocational drivers and the operators who allow them to drive illegally.
For operators who find themselves running short of time, FTA has organised some intensive courses during July and August to enable all the necessary training to be completed in five days.
Intensive courses are available on the following dates:
22nd – 26th July, Reigate
29th July – 2nd August, Leamington Spa
27th – 30th August, Hemel Hempstead (four-day week due to bank holiday)
Subjects covered include drivers’ hours, working time and record keeping; vehicle safety; road legal, driving values and safety first.
