Geotab to advise on using data to go green at Great British Fleet Event

With fleet emphasis on sustainability goals increasing and deadlines approaching, Geotab is to provide expert advice on using data to go green at this month’s Great British Fleet Event.

Geotab’s David Savage will speak on using data to go green at this month’s Great British Fleet Event

The show, which takes place on 29 March 2022 at Novotel London West in Hammersmith, will see David Savage, Geotab’s vice president UK & Ireland, take part in the extensive Fleet Masterclass conferences.

Speaking as part of the Sustainability Masterclass programme, Savage will look at how fleets can utilise the latest technology to lower the carbon footprint and create a more sustainable fleet.

It’s a topic that both Savage and Geotab have extensive experience of. With nearly 20 years in the UK transport sector, Savage currently has overall responsibility for the UK and Irish markets for Geotab, drawing on his background as an influential strategic and operational leader.

The firm’s asset tracking and management solutions can connect and manage your vehicle and/or entire fleet data in a single platform. At-a-glance reports mean operators can total usage and mileage to monitor efficiency across the fleet and per vehicle and see the CO2 emissions associated with your fuel usage. They can also be used to instill fuel-efficient driving practices.

Its solutions can also operate across both ICE and electric vehicles, ensuring a single-platform service with no data gaps in reporting and extensive insights.

Geotab’s talk at the Great British Fleet Event is one of a number of specialist insights into the latest best practice approaches for fleet management, duty of care and sustainability.

Other highlights of the show include a comprehensive exhibition of the latest fleet products and services, while the afternoon’s Great British Fleet Awards will reveal the leading fleet solutions, cars and vans.
