Businesses and individuals based in the Bristol area can now have their say on the future direction of the local electric vehicle charge point network ahead of expansion plans.

Bristol
In 2016, Bristol City Council invested £7.1m over five years to install 120 public charge points

The consultation follows the 2016 announcement of £7.1m funding for Bristol City Council over five years, which will be used by the council to install around 120 new public charging points across Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Run by Cenex and the Energy Saving Trust, the consultation is open to people living and working in the West of England, will garner views on how the network should be run, managed and supported going forward.

Completing the survey should take no more than ten minutes and, upon completion, those responding will be able to enter a prize draw for a chance to win a £100 Amazon shopping voucher.

A series of focus groups will be held during the week of the 19th of February 2018. To take part, please email Energy Saving Trust at [email protected] with the subject ‘West of England EV Focus Group’.
