Haynes Ford Maidstone achieves Van Excellence status

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) awarded Haynes with a certificate at the Ford Transit Show Live event held at the dealership in Maidstone today (21 May).

As a Van Excellence Recognised Partner the work Haynes Ford do in order to improve good practice in van fleets is acknowledged, as it the continuous efforts to ensure compliance in all that they do.

“The Van Excellence programme give us the ability to help develop and promote with our customers best practice in their operation of vans and light commercial vehicles," commented Neil Murray, commercial sales manager at Haynes Ford.

"Haynes Ford sell the whole range of award winning and market leading Ford vans that have been developed with the latest and most advanced safety features. Promoting ourselves selling Ford vehicles together with FTA Van Excellence programme we are able to offer customers a unique and comprehensive market leading combination of vehicles with advice on the latest and most up to date best practice in van operation.”

Van Excellence, the national accreditation scheme for van operators, is backed by FTA and was launched in 2010.  The scheme is an industry-led initiative is open to van operators of commercial vehicles of 3.5 te GVW or less, which aims to enhance standards of van operator compliance; celebrate operators who demonstrate excellence and represent the interests of the van industry.
