Head of fleet services appointed at Lex

Mason began his career at Lex Autolease in 1985 as a buyer with Lex Vehicle Leasing. During his 28-year career at the business, he has held a variety of senior positions, including head of sales and marketing, head of corporate sales and director of HSBC Vehicle Finance. Most recently, he led the Northern sales team.

In his new role, Mason will be responsible for the service maintenance and repair of vehicles within Lex Autolease’s 270,000-strong fleet.

Tim Porter, managing director at Lex Autolease, said: ‘Guy is a well-respected figure within the business and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Senior Operating Committee. As Head of Fleet Services, Guy will have a pivotal role in keeping vehicles on the roads, which is essential in minimising downtime and reducing costs for UK businesses.’

Commenting on his appointment, Mason said: ‘It has been great to see Lex Autolease evolve over the past 28 years into the market-leading business that it is today. I look forward to leading the services operations for the company and support its continued commitment to providing best practice fleet management solutions.’
