Well-known industry figure Dave Fisher has assumed the position of head of fleet at Herd Group, playing a pivotal part in shaping future business.
His appointment follows the contract hire and vehicle rental specialist’s expansion into fleet management at the end of 2020. Its Herd Connect solution delivers a holistics fleet management outsourcing service, further cemented by Herd’s recent tie-up with Allstar to support the service, repair and maintenance (SMR) offering.
Fisher joins Herd Group as part of the senior leadership team, responsible for crucial operational objectives to meet company growth ambitions and continued success, which will be delivered with the core principles of Herd’s customer CARE ethos.
He brings a wealth of experience in the industry, having previously worked at Enerveo, Virgin Media, Travis Perkins and Rexel, and will use his skills to lead the day-to-day operational activity for Herd rental and fleet management vehicles, workshop & body repairs, vehicle turnaround & logistics.
