Hiab’s DEL tail-lifts opens UK customer centre

DEL, a tail-lift brand of Hiab, is opening a purpose-designed customer centre in the UK to enhance customer support and product innovation.

The new centre will bring the innovation process closer to the customer with brand-new R&D test capabilities

The new centre, based in Witney, Oxfordshire, features a product showroom that showcases DEL’s product offering and features displays of how the different products can be configured for different applications. Customers can also operate different lifts and see first-hand which specific product can meet their specific needs.

The customer centre also provides training facilities with access to expertise and tools provided by Hiab. The facilities include hands-on training lifts and a modern training room.

Peter Robertson, director business unit at Hiab’s DEL tail-lifts division, explained: “With this new customer centre we will be a step closer to achieving our goal to provide the best possible customer service, support and experience through the product’s lifecycle.

“Innovation and new product development is also at the core of DEL’s future and by bringing the innovation process closer to the customer with brand-new R&D test capabilities we will be able to accelerate our ability to launch customer-led offerings with greater efficiency and speed.”

The new centre officially opens on 10 October 2024 to showcase its services and solutions.

The flexible nature of the building also provides further options and capacity to enable DEL’s future growth.
