The new low-rise building is being built at a cost of £7m and will offer environmentally sympathetically design. Development is due to be completed by July 2014.
Currently Hitachi Capital employs over 120 people in the existing offices in Canal Road and manages commercial vehicle fleets for national companies such as RAC and National Grid and Trowbridge based firm, apetito.

The company said its strong growth over the last 12 years – with vehicle numbers up from 717 to over 30,000 – warrants the need for new premises in the Trowbridge area.
Hitachi Capital will be providing support for public transport use and including facilities for cyclists, in addition to the existing regular bus services. Charging points are also being installed for electric vehicles.
