The ICFM Fleet Masterclasses are designed to supplement the ICFM’s core competence-based training currently offered to members – leading to the Introductory Certificate, the Certificate and the Diploma in Car Fleet Management – with masterclasses on hot topics of interest and relevance to car and LCV fleet operators, irrespective of their level of fleet experience.
Each Fleet Masterclass will address a given topic within a day. The six new ICFM Fleet Masterclasses are:Accident Management
- Driving Down Fleet Costs
- Duty of Care Management
- Fuel Management
- Grey Fleet Management
- Influencing Driver Behaviour
The cost of each ICFM Fleet Masterclass is £130 for members and £195 for non-members.
The first Fleet Masterclass, now planned for the autumn, will provide background to Duty of Care; an overview of the key risks and consequences of negligence; cover the implications for drivers and fleet operators; outline risk identification principles and framework; and offer a risk containment process model. The one day session will include case studies and group task presentations and plenary reviews.
Anyone interested in attending the first Fleet Masterclass on Duty of Care Management, should register their interest by contacting [email protected]
Visitors to the ICFM stand on the Fleet World Fleet Show on 12 May at Silverstone will be entered into a business card draw to win two vouchers for a premium West End dinner and show (including Miss Saigon, Wicked, Les Misérables, Jersey Boys) to the value of £210.
